A new day...

So it's Thursday and I'm at work. I managed to get up early and went swimming. This is not me I just thought it was a cool photo. I swam laps for 30min and I am so relaxed and sore at the same time that I can fall asleep on my keyboard. After getting ready for work I also went buy my old place to gather more of my belongings along with some of my workout equipment I will need. I was disappointed to see that the asshole perp who is now staying there had been using my things without my permission. I don't think he will be happy when he realize this evening to see my workout equipment gone. I can't believe he took my things out of the shed and set it all up. Anyway, I also picked up my television and a couple lava lamps (the pirate ones :)). I collect lava lamps I have over 20 I do not display them all, but they typically match the room there in.

After work yesterday I went to pick up some food and ended up getting more food than I needed at least I wont have to go grocery shopping for at least two months. I have officially stocked my food storage :) The one thing I did not get was Soy and Rice milk so I'm gonna have to go load up on that today. The reality is I do not enjoy shopping unless it's for toys electronics, etc... To just go shopping for cloths or food I pretty much have to have a list or know what I want because if I've been in the "Mall" or "Store" for an hour my head starts to hurt and overload starts to kick in.

Warning........

Hopscotch is not for overweight/obese people. My fat ass played hopscotch at work today with a couple of co-workers one who is skinny and the other weighting more than I. We had a fun time from 10-11am at work today. I could have opted to play four square but no I wanted to play hopscotch. Do I have a cool job or what?

I had a blast but I could have had a lot more fun if I was not overweight. It's funny how you kinda remember playing as a kid and as you think back you remember oh! I didn't have boobs back then to bounce around to create another obstacle. I'm not so fat that I can't play, but I could loose about 50lbs. We played a full game and I have no idea how many calories I burned but I can tell you I burned some. Now playing was not the brightest idea considering my back injury so some of my hops were more like flops lol lol....

While having fun at work the big light went off in my head that reminded me again that I need to loose weight and get healthy again. I've already been working on it but truth is I've been slacking, ok I've been slacking a lot. I am going to put a plan together today and figure out a workout routine and stick to it. It will include running and swimming laps since those are my two most favorite physical activities to do :) Running being #1 and Swimming #2 I'll update you when that is complete. Thank God, Buddha, Science, and the Trees that there was not a camera videotaping me play hopscotch today.

Scratching my head......

Veteran Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter switched from the Republican to the Democratic Party on Tuesday, saying he has found himself increasingly "at odds with the Republican philosophy."
"This is a painful decision. I know I'm disappointing many of my colleagues," he said at a news conference announcing the move. "The disappointment runs in both directions.
"I'm putting principle at the top of the list," he added.
The switch puts Senate Democrats one vote shy of a filibuster-proof majority of 60 seats. They can reach the 60-seat mark if Al Franken holds his current lead in the disputed Minnesota Senate race.
"As the Republican Party has moved farther and farther to the right, I have found myself increasingly at odds with the Republican philosophy and more in line with the philosophy of the Democratic Party," Specter said.
"In the course of the last several months ... I have traveled the state and surveyed the sentiments of the Republican Party in Pennsylvania and public opinion polls, observed other public opinion polls and have found that the prospects for winning a Republican primary are bleak."
Specter, a five-term Senate veteran, was facing what most political observers believed would have been a tough fight for the Pennsylvania GOP Senate nomination in 2010.

Smart Faucet

This smart faucet is equipped with face recognition technology, able to memorize your face, and then turn on to your preferred temperature and flow when you approach it. Amazingly, this faucet even has a touchscreen display located on top which can be used to check your email, calendar. It should be equipped with WiFi connectivity that can be hooked up to your home WiFi router for fetching emails and calendar updates.
The faucet shall be a good one for those overly busy geeks. So when you’re worried that you don’t even have a minute to shave, you can then shave in front of this faucet as it also lets you check through your inbox, to make sure the precious minutes not wasted while you’re shaving. The faucet is also integrated with LEDs which illuminate to show the temperature, transition from blue to red for higher temperatures. I love this: smart-faucet.
