Down for their nap and have been for about 30min. They are so funny and smart. I was in my car and pulled up to the house around 8:30am and I was finishing up a phone call while sitting in my car. I look up and the twins who are 4 soon to be 5 next week, but you would think they were like 7 or 8 brain wise. OK back to the story! They were walking out of the front door smiling and staring at me in my car as to wonder why is she sitting in the car get out and they waved so I cut my call short. You had to be there.
It started off with what's in your bag? Of course I have something for them in there, right! So I pulled out the erasable crayons in the shape of a marker with an eraser on the end you have to rotate out the colors. Did that make any sense? Any way we started the morning off drawing. I drew each of them the Finnster wanted the picture of him while he was sitting in his car seat (booster seat) that was on the back porch which is where we were drawing. This I found difficult doing but mission accomplished. Sammie on the other hand I just drew while she was standing up drawing. After our art projects were complete we went inside for sign language class. It was actually pretty funny Sammie was more interested in it then the Finnster but they were taught there colors and some basics it was fun.
Then Sammie started looking in my bag again smiling and pulled out a zip lock bag of embroidered string with different colors in the bag and a roll of scotch tape. If you don't already know what coming beware of the embroidered string! Sammie said what have we have here and I smiled and said thread to make friendship bracelets. If your a girl or at least were a girl when I grew up you made friendship bracelets. I said they could pick four colors each Sammie picked her four the Finnster started picking colors I said cant you count to 100 and he said yes and I said well that's five he smiled and laughed and said yes I know I want a wider one and I said OK but I'm going to do Sammie’s first then he said OK. While I was cutting the string he said OK I have picked seven colors I wanted more but I had to stop myself with this serious look on his face.
We had lunch I read a couple books and nap time they went. Then I finished the little man bracelet. And now I’m blogging ^_^
